From OGO to the Studio
One Girls Obsessions began in 2015 as a passion project by founder Kiara Duhig. What started as a beauty blog written from the spare bedroom of her rental home—while working full-time at a computer store—quickly gained traction. Kiara shared product reviews, tips, and tutorials, eventually capturing the attention of major beauty brands like Maybelline, Revlon, Frank Bod, Sigma, L’Oréal, Zoeva, and Poni Cosmetics.
Within 12 months, her online presence evolved into a hands-on business. Kiara began offering makeup services to a growing list of clients and found herself entering the bridal industry as a sought-after makeup artist. Balancing her full-time job during the week and makeup work on weekends, her dedication never wavered.
As demand continued to grow, Kiara opened her first studio and welcomed her first team member. The years that followed were filled with growth, education, and continuous upskilling—both for herself and her expanding team. In 2020, she invested her savings into creating a beautiful, welcoming studio at 67 Margaret Street—a space designed with intention, comfort, and luxury in mind.
Going full-time in her business, Kiara built a strong and supportive team culture, with a deep commitment to creating a workplace that staff love just as much as the clients do. Her focus extended beyond great service—it was about connection, team wellbeing, and building something that could last.
As the team and service offering continued to grow, it became clear that One Girls Obsessions had become much more than just one girl. It was a collective. A team. A studio. And the name had to reflect that.
Inspired by what the team naturally called their space, The Studio was born—refined and reimagined as The Studio, by OGO.
This evolution is more than a new name. It’s the beginning of a new era. A space grounded in connection, confidence, creativity, and care. A studio where beauty is personal, artistry is elevated, and relationships matter.

Founder
Founder of The Studio, by OGO (formerly One Girls Obsessions), Kiara turned her passion into a reality in 2015 at just 19 years old. With a natural eye for beauty and a heartfelt approach to her work, she quickly became known for her signature bridal and event makeup, as well as her brow artistry.
Kiara built her career on helping others feel confident in their own skin—enhancing natural features and creating genuine connections with every client. Now, while on maternity leave with her son Rocco, she continues to lead the business with vision and intention, working behind the scenes to shape every detail of The Studio experience.

Studio Manager & Skin Specialist
With a deep passion for skin health and beauty, Liz brings warmth, expertise, and intention to every treatment she performs. After completing her Certificate IV in Beauty Therapy, she continued her studies to specialise in advanced skin services including skin needling, chemical peels, and dermaplaning.
As our Studio Manager, Liz is not only highly skilled in facials, brows, lashes, threading, and body waxing, but also leads our team with care and integrity. She’s dedicated to creating a welcoming space where every client feels valued and truly at home.
What Liz loves most is helping clients feel pampered and radiant—enhancing their natural features and supporting them to feel like the most confident version of themselves.
Outside of the studio, Liz enjoys staying active, spontaneous road trips, baking sweet treats, and catching up over brunch or coffee with friends.

Abby is known for her precision, warm energy, and love for all things beauty. With a special flair for brows, lash lifts and makeup, she’s passionate about enhancing her clients’ natural features and creating confidence through every service.
“What I love most about my job is seeing my clients light up when they look in the mirror. There’s nothing better than knowing I’ve helped someone feel more beautiful and confident in their own skin.”
While she genuinely loves every service she offers, Abby admits brows might just be her favourite (but don’t make her choose!).
When she’s not in the studio, you’ll find Abby enjoying pilates, spending time with loved ones, or escaping to the coast for a slow, wholesome weekend.

With a natural eye for detail and creativity, Amy specialises in brows, lashes, and makeup—tailoring each service to suit her client’s unique features and personal style. Her approach is both artistic and thoughtful, ensuring every treatment feels bespoke.
“What I love most about my work is the opportunity to be creative while making a positive impact. It’s incredibly rewarding to help someone feel beautiful and confident, all while building genuine connections with my clients.”
Outside of the studio, Amy enjoys gym sessions, quality time with friends and family, and winding down with a good Netflix series.
